Wow — what a fantastic term we have had! Our theme, ‘Capital Chaos’, inspired us to explore famous London landmarks through a range of creative activities. Reception children created and painted their own clay buses, while Year 1 explored colour mixing by making secondary colour wheels before designing and painting London landmarks using a pointillism style inspired by Seurat — and they did an amazing job!
We also enjoyed lots of collaborative learning through block and magnetic play, recreating structures such as Tower Bridge and London Zoo. To finish the term, we welcomed parents into school to help us build a wonderful 3D double-decker bus together. It has truly been a busy, creative, and memorable term for everyone!
