What an amazing term we have had! The children have worked incredibly hard, shown wonderful enthusiasm for their learning and made us extremely proud of everything they have achieved.
🏫 We Returned to School
It was wonderful to welcome everyone back to school! The children quickly settled into their routines, enjoyed seeing their friends again and have made a fantastic, enthusiastic start to the term.
Languages Day
We celebrated Languages Day by learning all about Norway! We explored Norwegian language and culture, discovered interesting facts about the country and enjoyed broadening our understanding of the wider world.
🐦 Poetry
In English, we explored poetry and wrote our own poems inspired by the idea of hope as a bird. The children produced some wonderfully imaginative, thoughtful and creative pieces of writing.
💚 World Mental Health Day
We celebrated World Mental Health Day by thinking about our wellbeing and the importance of looking after ourselves and others. We discussed positive ways to support our mental health.
🌋 Fantastic Fossils
As part of our volcanoes topic, we got creative with clay and made our very own fossils. The children loved designing their fossils and bringing their learning to life!
🛁 Bath Bombs
To celebrate all their hard work this term, the children made their own bath bombs! It was a fun, hands-on reward and a brilliant way to finish a fantastic term.
