This term, the focus of our science studies has been on the Properties of Materials. We have conducted a variety of experiments, such as testing which materials are good insulators, evaluating the stickiness of different tapes, and observing what happens when sugar cubes are placed in colored water, as well as this week's experiment. This week, we looked at Non-Newtonian fluids. We combined cornflour and water to see what would happen. We did this to determine whether it would form a solid or a liquid.

We then enjoyed playing "hot potato" with the Non-Newtonian fluid.
