We have had a busy week and the children are getting much better at following rules and routines in school. They have been trying hard in Phonics lessons and have now learnt - s,a,t,p,i,n,m,d. We have begun to use these sounds to segment and blend simple words eg sat, tip, pin, map.
In Maths we have been learning to recognise dice patterns and Numicon pieces 1-5. We have also played a a game called '5 Nice Things' and have made collections of 2.
We have enjoyed our PE session and the activities we did for National Fitness Day.
We have begun to look at the story Owl Babies , have made owls and wrote sounds for some of the characters.
Next week we will be learning to tell and order the story. We will be going on our first Welly walk and will look for signs of Autumn.
