What a fantastic and busy term 2JS has had! We have enjoyed lots of exciting events, memorable experiences and opportunities to learn together. Here are some of our highlights from this term.
Sports Day
Year 2 had a wonderful Sports Day, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. Everyone tried their best and enjoyed taking part in the different events. It was such a shame that parents could not attend.
Drumming Performance
The children performed their drumming pieces brilliantly, demonstrating confidence, rhythm and enthusiasm. It was a shame that parents were unable to attend, but we were incredibly proud of everyone.
Butterfly World Trip
Our visit to Butterfly World was full of excitement and discovery. The children loved seeing the butterflies up close and learning about different insects and habitats.
Father's Day Cards
We enjoyed creating thoughtful Father's Day cards. The children worked carefully on their designs and were excited to share their special messages at home.
Class World Cup Draw
We held a class World Cup draw, which created lots of excitement. Children enjoyed supporting their teams, and some lucky winners received prizes throughout the competition.
Swap Day
During Swap Day, the children spent time with their new class teacher and explored a different classroom. This helped everyone feel excited and prepared for September.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, progress and achievements the children have made this year. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer break and look forward to the exciting adventures ahead in Year 3! 🌟
