The school value for this term is co-operation and children in 4GS were given a couple of challenges. These challenges involved the need for co-operation within small groups.

One was to draw a large male or female portrait and a large house. Each child in the group had three or four sections and they were given a small amount of time to co-operate with each other as to what to draw in their own section. They then had to separate from each other and draw their section before getting back together to piece their portrait together. There were some interesting results!

The other challenge was to move a metre stick from one end of the hall to the other. Initially, the children thought that this would be the easiest challenge of Year 4. Not so! They could only use one finger each! Each group managed to achieve this after a few tries.

Great co-operating, Year 4, well done!
