We have had a busy week starting our topic on the Gruffalo. We began by listening to the story and acting out parts of it. We have used play dough and small parts to make the Gruffalos face and painted Gruffalos. In Science Year 1 went on a Materials hunt and discovered lots of things are made from plastic. Reception made and drew animal homes as their UTW. We have also been thinking about Spring and creating Spring pictures and have been learning about Tally marks and how to use them. Year 1 also went on a local walk as part of their Geography.
