This week we celebrated Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year.
We started by opening a red envelope and decorating it with good stars. Children receive red envelopes as gifts during the Chinese New Year. They are red for luck.
Then we completed 5 different activities. These were food tasting, Chinese number painting, cutting out Chinese lanterns, making a snake and building the Great Wall of China. We had great fun.
