World Poetry Day Contest: Congratulations to RSSM and 2PS (Year 2) Classes!

Congratulations RSSM and 2PS for your fantastic poems, winning the World Poetry Day contest organised across all the White Horse Federation Primaries.

Here are the winning poems:

Can You see the Tiger?

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

His roar is really loud.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

He walks very proud.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

His stripes are orange and black.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

His stripes are on his back.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

He is so big.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

He has claws to dig.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

He hunts for meat.

Can you see the tiger, the tiger?

He has four feet.

The Moon

The moon is like a glowing ball shining in the darkness,

It lights up the night sky like a volcano exploding in the velvety blackness,

It makes me feel like I am safe from all of my worries,

The moon gives me hope that a great new day is coming.
