Welcome to 5CW! In 5CW we like to have lots of fun with our learning. We like every child to have a smile on their face and feel happy and valued in school every day.
Our topics this year are:
- Term 1 - Black History
- Term 2 - To Infinity and Beyond
- Term 3 - The Romans and The Celts
- Term 4 - Groovy Greeks
- Term 5 - Brilliant
- Term 6 - Fallen Fields
Homework:
Homework is set at the start of every term and is due to be handed in the second to last Friday of each term. All children should be reading daily at home and bringing their reading record in to school each day. Children will need to copy their spellings into their reading records at the start of the week to be able to practise these throughout the week at home ready for their spelling test each Friday.
Important information:
Please make sure your child comes to school with a water bottle and a healthy snack each day.
Our PE day for Term 1 will be on a Wednesday. PE is outside this term so please make sure children have full school PE kit (black shorts/joggers and a white top) and a black jumper and suitable trainers in case the weather turns bad.
